Born in 1995, Mohamad Nohad Alameddine fell in love with drawing and sketching early on and viewed art as an important part of his life. Alameddine has a BA in illustration from ALBA and is currently pursuing his Masters degree there. In February 2018 Nohad was awarded the 1st prize of the prestigious "la plume de Pierre Sadek". In his exhibited artwork - Jungle Urbaine - Alameddine captures the essence of our modern day urban cities, and more precisely Beirut’s. He portrays through his work the traffic, pollution, and corruption of his beloved city, all the while offering the viewer an overall optimistic reality about the present and future of Beirut.
