Nadine Kanawati is a Lebanese artist, born in 1984 in Beirut. She holds a BA and an MA in Fine Arts from the Lebanese University. Kanawati has a strong interest in art therapy in which she specialized after graduating. With an interest in advocacy, civil rights and her experience serving on the board of several non-profit organizations, Kanawati showcases the discomfort of being stuck in an eternal and endless cycle. She worked with several NGOs including the United Nations on multiple projects using art therapy techniques. In October 2017, she organized a workshop at the BCC (Breast Cancer Center). Kanawati participated in the inaugural exhibition of CUB Gallery in December 2017.
